Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an Outreach Mentor for a South Manchester setting, supporting pupils aged 11-18 with SEMH in the community. The role follows a 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday-to-Friday schedule and involves building engagement, promoting academic and emotional development, and liaising with carers and SLT.

The ideal candidate will have SEMH experience, a full UK driving license with access to a car, and the ability to deliver and prepare 1:1 lessons. Team Teach training is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs.
• Full, clean UK driving license and access to a car.
• Capable of delivering and preparing 1:1 lessons.
• Team Teach training is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with pupils to promote academic and emotional development.
• Communicate regularly with parents and SLT.
• Take attendance in mornings and report to SLT.
