Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting an Outreach Mentor for a SEMH provision in Manchester (M15). You will work 1:1 with pupils, supporting both academic and emotional development within community settings.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm term time only, offering £500-£700 per week dependent on experience. A driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEMH needs.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Comfortable delivering and preparing 1:1 lessons.
• Team Teach training is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with pupils, promoting academic and emotional development.
• Regularly communicate with parents and SLT.
• Take attendance in mornings and report to SLT.

Position - Outreach Mentor

Are you an experienced Outreach mentor, seeking a new opportunity within SEMH? We are working with a SEMH provision in Manchester to recruit a calm and resilient Outreach Mentor to join their team.

The school supports pupils aged between 11-18, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be supporting pupils in the community, promoting engagement and development.

As an Outreach Mentor, you will:

• Work 1:1 with pupils, promoting both academic and emotional development


• Regularly communicate with parents and SLT


• Take attendance in mornings and report to SLT

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience supporting Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs


• A full, clean UK driving license and access to a car is essential for this position


• Comfortable delivering and preparing 1:1 lessons


• Team Teach training is highly desired
