Exciting Opportunity – SEMH Classroom Teacher
Location: North Yorkshire
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £31,650 per annum (MPS/UPS) + SEN Allowance

Are you a passionate and resilient educator looking to make a real impact in the lives of young people with additional needs? A highly supportive specialist school in North Yorkshire is seeking a committed Classroom Teacher to join their team.

About the Role:
Working across Key Stages 2 to 4, you will teach pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, including those with traits or diagnoses of autism, ADHD, anxiety, and other learning difficulties. Each student follows a personalised curriculum based on the outcomes in their EHCPs, supported by a strong therapeutic framework.

You’ll join a school that offers:

  • A nurturing, trauma-informed approach to teaching.

  • A commitment to therapeutic, play-based learning and restorative practice.

  • Strong multidisciplinary teamwork and wraparound support.
