Primary Teacher (SEMH Experienced)

Location: Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire

Start: ASAP

GSL Education is seeking a skilled Primary Teacher (SEMH Experienced) for a primary school in Goole, East Riding of Yorkshire.

Job Summary:

  • Teach across the primary curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on the educational progress of children.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEMH requirements.
  • Provide differentiated support and interventions to promote academic progress and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate effectively with the SENCO, Teaching Assistants, and external agencies to support student’s holistic development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and well-being.
  • Provide strong help to a small group of SEMH need students.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in a primary setting.
  • Proven experience and understanding of supporting pupils with SEMH need.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and ability to implement effective strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
