Job Opportunity: Primary Teacher

Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified Primary Teachers confident in teaching KS1 & KS2, particularly those experienced with children with additional needs, including social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) issues.

This role involves working with pupils who are mainly KS2, many of whom have significant gaps in their education and have missed fundamental learning blocks. The position is based in Longsight (M13) and is available to start as soon as possible.

The role is initially temporary with the potential to become permanent, offering an excellent opportunity for career progression.

We are looking for enthusiastic teachers who are comfortable working in specialist environments and can thrive in settings with high socio-economic challenges, such as inner-city primary schools.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Primary qualified (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching KS1 & KS2, especially lower ability groups
  • Experience working with learners with additional needs or SEMH
  • Driven, energetic, compassionate, and professional
