Job summary

Nurseplus Worcestershire is seeking a Children & Young People’s Support Worker to assist across Worcestershire with young people aged 5–25, including SEMH needs and additional needs. Role requires a driver with own car, a minimum 6 months UK healthcare experience, and right to work in the UK; DBS application on registration; we offer flexible shifts, weekly pay, and industry-leading training.

Competitive rates £13.15–£18.50 per hour with higher for nights and weekends; potential for a permanent

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK healthcare sector experience.
• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs is mandatory.
• Experience providing personal care including toileting and continence care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centred support to children and young people with additional needs, neurodiversity and SEMH needs.
• Provide personal care and intimate care, including toileting, continence care and nappy/continence pad changes, where required.
• Support washing, dressing and other personal hygiene needs while maintaining dignity, privacy and independence.
