Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd in West Drayton is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to work with pupils who require additional social, emotional and behavioural support in a SEMH setting.

The role involves supporting pupils throughout the school day, using positive strategies to promote engagement and emotional regulation, and collaborating with teachers and the pastoral team to maintain a safe learning environment. This position starts in September and is full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour is desirable.
• Calm, resilient, and confident managing behaviours positively.
• Able to build meaningful relationships with pupils from a range of backgrounds.
• Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people to succeed.
• A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach to everyday.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs throughout the school day.
• Use positive behaviour strategies to promote engagement and emotional regulation.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and act as a consistent role model.
• Work alongside teachers and the pastoral team to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Encourage confidence, resilience, and independence both in and out of the classroom.
