Job summary

Pink Tile Education Ltd. is seeking Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in the Heathfield and Hailsham area. This full-time, long-term role offers the chance to work with both primary and secondary students in a nurturing environment with small class sizes.

Join a dedicated team of therapists and teachers to help children overcome barriers to learning. DBS checks and UK work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A patient and resilient approach to behaviour support.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Providing one-to-one and small group support.
Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
Building strong, trusting relationships with children and young people.
Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience and independence.
Supporting learning through creative and engaging activities.
Assisting with personalised learning plans and interventions.
Promoting a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment.
Working closely with teachers, therapists and families to support pupil progress.
Acting as a positive role model every day.
