Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd is seeking a resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to work with pupils aged 11-16 in a specialist SEMH setting in Wandsworth. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping students manage behaviours and remain engaged in learning.

You will implement behaviour support strategies, use de-escalation techniques, promote emotional regulation and act as a positive role model alongside teaching and pastoral staff. Immediate start and full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs is required.
• Experience in SEMH settings, PRU or alternative provision desirable.
• Confident with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils aged 11-16.
• Implement behaviour support strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Promote emotional regulation and help pupils stay engaged with learning.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support pupils' wellbeing.
