Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd in Greenwich is seeking a patient SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 11-16 in a specialist SEMH setting. You will work 1:1 and in small groups alongside teachers to help pupils manage emotions and access learning.

The role focuses on implementing behaviour strategies, promoting positive relationships, and supporting emotional wellbeing to build confidence and resilience for success inside and outside the classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs.
• Experience in SEMH school, PRU or alternative provision desirable.
• Confident supporting behaviour, emotional regulation and learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils aged 11-16.
• Implement behaviour strategies and promote positive relationships.
• Support emotional wellbeing and help pupils access learning.
• Collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff.
