Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is recruiting a seasoned Multi-Trade Operative for a long-term, self-employed role across Melton Mowbray and surrounding areas. You'll perform responsive repairs and maintenance in tenanted social housing properties, earning £23 per hour with fuel paid between jobs and weekly pay.

Must be capable across several trades, have your own tools and a reliable vehicle, and work independently in occupied homes while keeping tenants informed and downtime to a minimum.

Qualifications

• Proven multi-trade experience in domestic maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to work across several trades in tenanted properties.
• Own tools and a reliable vehicle are essential for field-based work.
• Capable of working independently with good time management and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive repairs and general maintenance in tenanted social housing properties.
• Complete a range of multi-trade repairs based on skill set.
• Carpentry and joinery repairs including doors and frames.
• Basic plumbing repairs and fixes for leaks, taps and toilets.
• Minor plastering, tiling, finishing and Kitchen/Bathroom repairs.
• Repair or replace fixtures and components; diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently on first visit.
• Work professionally within occupied properties and keep tenants informed.
