Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a well-established contractor delivering void property repairs in Daventry. This ongoing temporary role offers regular work within a busy team completing high-quality refurbishment projects.

The role covers a range of trades on social housing void properties, with emphasis on carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and decorating to achieve lettable standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Multi Trade Operative across multiple trades.
• Own van and own tools.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in social housing void properties desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting & decorating experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs across multiple trades to a void property.
• Prepare homes to a lettable standard.
• Repair doors, frames, locks, kitchens, bathrooms and fixtures.
• Patch plastering, wall repairs and minor rendering.
• Basic plumbing repairs including taps, sinks, toilets, pipework.
• Hang doors, fit skirting boards and architraves.
• Tile walls and floors and finish painting and decorating.
• Ensure void standard met within timescales.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to safety regulations.
