Job summary

House of Commons is seeking a Security Training & Development Partner to design and deliver bespoke security training for roughly 300 Security Officers, 30 Managers, and the Security Operations Centre. You will translate evolving threats into engaging learning experiences, including tabletop scenarios, live cross-team exercises, internal training, and e-learning.

You will work at the heart of UK Parliament to prepare a diverse frontline workforce, ensuring content reflects policies and risks

What You’ll Be Doing

As Security Training & Development Partner, you will strengthen the operational readiness of the House of Commons by designing and delivering bespoke security training for around 300 Security Officers, 30 Security Officer Managers, the Security Operations Centre and senior leaders. Translating evolving threats and operational priorities into realistic learning experiences, you will deliver tabletop scenarios, live cross-team exercises, internal operational training and e-learning.

Working at the heart of UK Parliament, you will play a distinctive role in preparing a diverse frontline workforce to protect a nationally significant and complex environment. You will create accessible, engaging programmes that accommodate different learning styles, abilities and levels of experience, while ensuring content reflects current policies, procedures and risks. You will assess and continuously improve training packages, evaluate learning outcomes, accurately record exercise results and capture lessons. By maintaining strong relationships across the Parliamentary Security Department, gathering workforce feedback and reviewing individual development needs, you will help build engagement with the Test and Exercise Strategy and champion a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
