Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Installation Engineer - Multi Skilled in Leeds to install intruder alarms, access systems, CCTV and fire alarm systems. You will deliver high‑quality installation work, ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing exceptional customer service.

The role focuses on a time‑served, multi‑skilled engineer working in a high‑performing team within the ADT Major Projects Group, with strong career progression and funded qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience within Fire & Security industry.
• Driving licence required.
• Able to lift and climb ladders.
• Customer-facing environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install Intruder Alarms, Access Systems, CCTV and Fire Alarm Systems to industry standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues on-site.
• Complete work reports and certificates accurately and on time.
• Prioritise jobs effectively and manage time efficiently.

What you will do

Our Installation Engineers are involved in installing Intruder Alarms, Access Systems, CCTV and Fire Alarm Systems. The successful engineers will install the Fire and Security systems to the relevant industry standards, providing exceptional customer service with industry leading technical knowledge. We are looking for engineers who have the ability to identify and rectify problems before they occur. This is a fantastic opportunity for a time served Multi skilled Engineer to work within a high performing team, focusing on a geographical region. How you will do it

• Provide excellent Customer Service to exceed the expectations and requirements of both the internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers.
• To Service the appropriate devices, working safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and the loss of unused materials.
• Ensuring your time is managed efficiently and jobs are prioritised correctly.
• Correctly complete Engineer work reports, handover certificates/BSIA Certificates or checklist as appropriate.

What we look for

Essential:

• Experience within Fire & Security industry
• Driving license
• Ability to lift and climb ladders
• Had or have previous experience working in a customer facing environment

Preferred:

• Hold current relevant qualifications to the industry i.e. 18 th edition/ NVQ/ City and Guilds/BTEC/FIA
