Job summary

Johnson Controls, a global leader in building systems, is recruiting for an Installation Engineer – Multi Skilled within the ADT Major Projects Group. You will install intruder alarms, access controls, CCTV and fire alarm systems across a defined region, delivering high-quality service and solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience within Fire & Security industry.
• Driving license is required.
• Able to lift and climb ladders and work at height.
• Previous customer-facing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install Fire & Security systems (Intruder alarms, Access systems, CCTV, Fire alarms) to industry standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional technical support.
• Complete engineer reports, handover certificates, and checklists.
• Prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently within a high-performing team.

What You Will Do

Our Installation Engineers are involved in installing Intruder Alarms, Access Systems, CCTV and Fire Alarm Systems. The successful engineers will install the Fire and Security systems to the relevant industry standards, providing exceptional customer service with industry leading technical knowledge. We are looking for engineers who have the ability to identify and rectify problems before they occur. This is a fantastic opportunity for a time served Multi skilled Engineer to work within a high performing team, focusing on a geographical region. How You Will Do It

• Provide excellent Customer Service to exceed the expectations and requirements of both the internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers.
• To Service the appropriate devices, working safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and the loss of unused materials.
• Ensuring your time is managed efficiently and jobs are prioritised correctly.
• Correctly complete Engineer work reports, handover certificates/BSIA Certificates or checklist as appropriate.

What We Look For

Essential

• Experience within Fire & Security industry
• Driving license
• Ability to lift and climb ladders
• Had or have previous experience working in a customer facing environment

Preferred

• Hold current relevant qualifications to the industry i.e. 18th edition/ NVQ/ City and Guilds/BTEC/FIA
