Wilson James is seeking a dedicated SupportOfficer to help maintain a safe environment for staff, visitors and assets in London. The role covers patrols, incident response and enforcing security protocols with a calm, professional approach.

The ideal candidate will hold a current DS SIA Licence, have security experience, strong observation and communication skills, and be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays. This is a permanent, on-site position offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Current DS SIA licence required.
• Proven security experience.
• Strong observational and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication with staff, visitors and authorities.
• Ability to stay calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
• Flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Aufgaben

• Meet and greet visitors professionally.
• Site security patrols and presence.
• Maintain visible security presence on and around sites, focusing on access and egress.
• Upkeep of key logbook, daily administrative tasks, clear reporting and ID card management.
• Contractor check-in/out, vehicle passes and parking adherence.
• Carry out initial investigations and report incidents and suspicious activities in writing.
• Operate radios, pagers, access devices and other security equipment.
• Enforce access and egress procedures with professional and polite assertiveness.
