In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security protocols are upheld at all times. About the Role:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Meeting and greeting of visitors and guests in a professional and friendly manner
• Site security patrols
• Provide a highly visible proactive security presence on and around the sites with emphasis on access and egress
• Upkeep of key logbook and other administrative tasks, archiving daily paperwork, clear reporting writing, system testing, ID card management, records etc.
• Contractor control — booking in/out of contractors, issuing of vehicle passes, monitoring adherence to parking restrictions
• Carry out initial investigations and report both verbally and in writing on incidents, suspicious activities, objects and vehicles.
• Operate radios, pagers, electronic access devices and any other physical security equipment used on site
• Display an outstanding level of customer focus and understand the reasons for it. Enforce access and egress procedures Standard Operating Procedures in a polite but assertive manner

• To hold a current DS SIA Licence
• Proven experience in a security role or a similar position.
• Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
