Job summary

Apleona UK is recruiting a Security Supervisor to join our Bedford site. You will be responsible for regular patrols, incident management, and maintaining detailed records to ensure safety and compliance. You will lead the security team and ensure high levels of customer service for clients and visitors.

Hours are 42 per week (2 x 12 hour days, 2 x 12 hour nights, 4 off). Apleona offers training and development and an equal opportunities approach within a dynamic facilities management

Qualifications

• SIA frontline guarding licence required.

  Location – Bedford, MK44 1LQ

  We’re currently looking to recruit a Security Supervisor to join our team at Apleona, always providing exemplary security and customer service for our clients and customers. As someone who is professional, friendly, helpful, and passionate about keeping people safe, you’ll be a fantastic asset to our organisation.

  In this role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out regular patrols of our clients’ site ensuring that it is safe for all visitors and tenants. Supported by our safety procedures, you’ll make sure that all incidents on site are managed properly and that detailed records are maintained to help keep us compliant. In addition, you’ll be responsible for focusing the security teams on providing excellent customer service; ensuring compliance with all internal procedures, site processes and external bodies including enforcement agencies and auditory bodies. You will also control and deliver the security rotas ensuring correct manning levels and compliance are always maintained.

  As an Apleona Security Supervisor, we’re looking for:

  • SIA frontline guarding licence
  • Supervisory experience
  • Excellent customer care
  • Vigilance with attention to detail
  • Ability of working with radio communications
  • Willingness to work with their manager and team to ensure all necessary tasks are completed

  It’s desirable that you have a current CCTV SIA Licence and a qualification or further education in Security Management. We’ll provide you with full training once you start and make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job.
