Apleona UK is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to patrol client sites in Bedford and ensure safety for visitors and tenants. You will be the public face of the security team, maintaining professional conduct and a can-do attitude.

The role requires SIA guarding credentials, a driving licence with own transport, and vigilance with attention to detail. You will follow site assignment instructions, work with the security manager, and contribute to compliant service delivery.

Qualifications

• SIA frontline guarding licence required.
• Driving licence with own transport required due to site location.
• CCTV SIA licence (desirable).
• Previous experience within security industry.
• Vigilance with attention to detail.
• Experience of working with radio communications.
• Willingness to work with the manager and team to ensure all tasks are completed.
• Security Management Qualification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular patrols of the client site and ensure safety for visitors and tenants.
• Maintain continuous monitoring of radio systems and liaise with management on service delivery.
• Record incidents accurately to support compliance and safety procedures.
• Provide exemplary security and customer service as the public face of the security team.

Security Officer

Location – Bedford, MK44 1LQ

Hours – Monday – Sunday, 42 Hours Shift Worker (2 x 12 hour days, 2 x 12 hour nights, 4 off)

We’re currently looking to recruit a Security Officer who will provide exemplary security and customer service for our clients and their people. The Security Officer is the public face of the security team and should act with professionalism at all times, a can-do attitude is essential in this highly influential role.

Reporting to the security manager, you’ll be responsible for carrying out regular patrols of our client’s site as detailed in the site assignment instructions, ensuring that it is safe for all visitors and tenants. Supported by our safety procedures, you’ll make sure that all incidents on site are managed properly and that detailed records are maintained to help keep us compliant. In this role you will maintain continuous monitoring of site radio systems and provide regular liaison with the management team on all aspects of service delivery, implementing effective solutions and corrective action to enhance the service.
