Job summary

AWD Recruitment is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager in St Albans, Hertfordshire to drive growth of CCTV, access control and intruder alarm solutions. Office-based with client visits, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contracts.

Ideal candidates will have B2B security sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a full UK driving licence. Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00, with an excellent commission structure and company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or sales within the security industry.
• Track record of winning new business and meeting targets.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals and cold calling.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits and security consultations to understand operational and security requirements.
• Prepare and deliver professional proposals and quotations for tailored security solutions.
• Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to contract award.
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and performance objectives.
• Maintain an up-to-date pipeline and accurately report on sales activity.
• Represent the company professionally at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Promote electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control and intruder alarm solutions.
