Job summary

HSB Technical is seeking a Business Development Manager for CCTV, Access Control & Telecoms in Havant. This field-based role covers the South Cotswolds and surrounding areas, offering a base salary of £32,000–£34,000 plus uncapped commission and a company car or car allowance.

You will identify new business opportunities, qualify leads, conduct site surveys, present integrated security and networking solutions, and manage the full sales cycle with strong relationship building and CRM-based

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Business Development, Field Sales or Account Management.
• Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, IP Networking, Wi‑Fi or VoIP systems.
• Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in Fire & Security or Telecoms is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities across commercial and premium residential markets.
• Prospect, qualify and develop new sales leads.
• Attend customer meetings and carry out site surveys to understand client requirements.
• Prepare accurate quotations and tailored proposals.
• Present CCTV, Access Control, Wi‑Fi and Telecoms solutions to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline using the CRM and coordinate with technical teams.
