Job summary

Johnson Controls ADT is recruiting a Service Engineer in Newbury to service intruder alarms, access control and CCTV systems. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure installations meet industry standards while maintaining high customer service levels.

The role requires a time-served engineer with Fire & Security experience, a valid driving license, and the ability to work safely, often on customer sites across the region. Training and career progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in Fire & Security industry is essential.
• Valid driving license is mandatory.
• Ability to lift and climb ladders.
• Customer-facing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service intruder alarms, access control and CCTV systems.
• Identify and rectify problems to minimize downtime.
• Provide excellent customer service while following safety protocols.
• Complete service reports and certificates for each visit.
