Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is inviting applications for Security Officer roles at our client site in Woking. You will deliver high quality guarding and customer service to clients and users, with duties including patrols, incident response, and reporting.

Applicants must hold SIA Door Supervision licence; CCTV licence preferred. Full uniform provided and opportunities for progression.

Responsibilities

Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for Security Support officers, who will work at our client’s premises in Woking.

You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.

We require Officers to be SIA licenced –Door Supervision

CCTV Licencepreferred but not required

The security officer is required to provide an efficient, effective and professional security service.

DUTIES AS A SECURITY OFFICER

• To provide the site with an efficient and effective security service.
• To ensure that the security of the site is not compromised and carry out prescribed procedures in the event of a security breach, fire, flood, accident or major incident.
• To welcome and effectively supervise public access to the site
• To carry out the normal range of duties associated with security, including patrols, responding to incidents, reacting to alarms and reporting all health and safety concerns
• Writing accurate reports to reflect the incidents happening onsite
• Perform control room duties when required

JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in the security industry preferable but not required environment.
• Be polite, helpful and diligent at all times
• Have a calm personality capable of controlling difficult situations
• Have a proactive and efficient approach
• Be able to work without supervision and as a member of a team
• Be knowledgeable and able to communicate effectively
• Be smart and well presented at all times
• Have a professional and understandable telephone manner.
