Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is recruiting Security Officers to join a university campus security team. You will provide professional security, monitor CCTV, patrol on and off campus, and ensure safety for staff and visitors.

The role requires an SIA license and CCTV license within 3 months, plus a valid UK driving licence. Full uniform is supplied, with paid holidays, a pension plan, ongoing training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• SIA license required and CCTV license within 3 months.
• Valid UK driving license required.
• First Aid preferred.
• Full uniform provided.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce client vision and security posture on campus.
• Carry out internal and external patrols and control access to authorised personnel.
• Operate CCTV to identify suspicious activity and capture evidential footage.
• Report security occurrences or system failures to Line Management.
• Comply with SIA and client procedures and protocols.
• Contribute to achieving strategic and operational targets.
• Provide a professional service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• First Aid response included during duties.

Job description

An exciting opportunity to work alongside one of our most prestigious clients has arisen, Bidvest Noonan are seeking to hire Security Officers to work in a University Campus. This role would suit someone who is committed to providing impeccable customer service, organised, energetic and someone who always goes above and beyond within their role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing security to our client's premises ensuring full protection to the site along with other security elements. Responsibilities:

• Reinforce our vision to always be our clients "partner of choice";
• Ensure client premises and surrounding area is safe and secure by carrying out patrols internally and externally on site and permitting only authorised personnel;
• Proactively operate CCTV cameras to identify suspicious activity and capturing footage of an evidential nature if required;
• Advise Line Management of any security occurrence or system failure and identify and report any situation of potential risk or concern
• Comply with SIA, Company and client operating procedures, working practices and protocols;
• Actively contribute towards the achievement of our strategic and operational targets and overall business aims.
• To provide a professional service and ensure total customer satisfaction
