Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a proactive Receptionist to join the Total Security Management Team. The role is based at a client site on a permanent basis and reports to the Operations Manager.

You will be part of a team delivering first-class facility services, handling post, coordinating deliveries, supporting against SLAs, and assisting with emergency evacuation procedures. Ideal candidates will be computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook) with a solid understanding of Health & Safety practices

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to deliver a first-class service within the facility.
• Support Service Level Agreement by ensuring Site Support activities are carried out effectively.
• Ensure customer requests are dealt with efficiently.
• Provide labour support to ad-hoc out of hours events.
• Manage internal/external post and courier deliveries/collections.
• Support Emergency Evacuation procedures.
• Assist with review of procedures and processes.
• Assist with personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPS) for less abled guests.
• Explain Audio Visual and IT systems to customers.
• Move heavy/bulky items when required.
• Maintain Health & Safety practices.
• Build positive relationships with customers.
• Demonstrate enthusiastic and conscientious approach to Site Support tasks.
• Communicate clearly, strongly and confidently.
• Possess or obtain a current SIA licence.
