Job summary

Wilson James in London is seeking a Duty Security Manager to lead day-to-day security operations on-site and oversee the security team. You will ensure compliance with policies, react promptly to incidents, and work to continually improve service delivery.

Qualifications

SIA DS/CCTV license or equivalent required.
Experience in operating site security systems and incident response is essential.
Strong communication and leadership abilities are needed.

Responsibilities

Act as the initial point of contact for daily operational security.
Collaborate with the Site Security Manager (SSM) to manage and align with client requirements.
Supervise and deploy the security team, ensuring adherence to AIs, SOPs, and conduct post visits.
Maintain oversight of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, and provide reports to emergency services as needed.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
Conduct internal investigations and present findings to stakeholders.
Lead and support training and development of the security team.
Respond to and investigate fire alarm activations, and supervise evacuations/lockdowns.
Enhance the profile of security services through engagement and information sharing.
