Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a professional Security Officer to join our team at a busy client site in the Hull area. You will help protect people, property, and assets while delivering a professional, approachable service to employees and visitors.

The role offers a structured shift pattern, a focus on safety and customer service, and opportunities to develop in a leading facilities management company known for its flexible pay options and learning resources.

Qualifications

Must have the Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 vetting.
Valid SIA Licence.
Previous experience in a security role.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain the safety and security of buildings, personnel, and visitors across the site.
Act as a first point of contact, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service.
Monitor fire, security and building management systems, responding appropriately to incidents.
Support a safe working environment by following Health & Safety policies and reporting hazards, damage, or defects.
Control access points, barriers, and support traffic management across the site.
Carry out regular patrols and ensure security procedures are consistently followed.
