Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Facility Security Officer to work onsite. You will record site activity, monitor CCTV, conduct patrols and maintain safety records.

Candidates must have an SIA licence, be computer literate, and able to interact with all levels. Right to work in the UK is required. Shift pattern is 4 days on, 4 off, including nights.

• SIA licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Recording of vehicles, visitors and contractors and site activities with accurate records.
• Monitor site visually and via CCTV; respond to alerts and alarms.
• Complete regular site patrols and inspections for client premises.
• Maintain a professional security presence throughout the site.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and management plans.

About The Role:

Shift Pattern: 4 Days, 4 off, 4 Nights, 4 off

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Recording of vehicles, visitors and contractors as well as all site activities maintaining accurate records and a site daily occurrence record
• Monitor site visually and via CCTV and be fully conversant with the CCTV and site electronic security systems responding to alerts and alarms as required
• Completing regular site patrols and inspections of client’s premises in accordance with the assignment Instructions
• To show a professional security presence throughout the site
• To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company’s Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety Management plans

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
• You will be required to undergo screening and vetting (BS7858)
• SIA licensed essential
• Computer literate
• Able to interact at all levels from visitors to senior management.
• High standards of personal presentation
