Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to join a busy client site. You will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment, protecting people and assets while delivering a professional service to staff and visitors.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, Right to Work in the UK, BS7858 vetting, and prior security experience. A Saturday day shift with potential overtime is available, with a focus on high standards and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of buildings, personnel, and visitors across the site.
• Act as a first point of contact, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service.
• Monitor fire, security and building management systems, responding appropriately to incidents.
• Support a safe working environment by following Health & Safety policies and reporting hazards, damage, or defects.
• Control access points, barriers, and support traffic management across the site.
• Carry out regular patrols and ensure security procedures are consistently followed.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 vetting.


• Valid SIA Licence
