Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to join a dedicated team at a busy client site. You will protect people, property and assets while delivering a professional, approachable service to staff and visitors.

The role requires involvement in maintaining safety, monitoring systems, and enforcing Health & Safety policies. Strong communication and a customer-focused approach are essential for day-to-day duties and incident response.

Qualifications

• Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
• Valid SIA Licence.
• Previous experience in a security role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of buildings, personnel, and visitors across the site
• Act as a first point of contact, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service
• Monitor fire, security and building management systems, responding appropriately to incidents
• Follow Health & Safety policies and report hazards, damage, or defects
• Control access points, barriers, and support traffic management across the site
• Carry out regular patrols and ensure security procedures are consistently followed
