Job summary

Dardan Security Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a professional Security Officer to join on a 3-month fixed-term contract. You will be the first point of contact on site, delivering a warm, professional welcome while upholding the highest security standards.

Your duties cover reception and access control, regular patrols, incident response, and health and safety tasks, with full in-house training provided. A valid SIA licence and right to work in the UK are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence is required.
• MS Office familiarity (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Right to work in the UK with five-year history.
• Punctual and reliable with a customer-focused approach.
• Desirable CCTV licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage reception and concierge duties, including visitor registration and access control.
• Conduct regular patrols and security checks of the premises.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies and enquiries.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and site documentation.
• Issue visitor passes and ensure access procedures are followed.
• Support health and safety procedures across the site.
• Build strong relationships with clients, visitors and colleagues.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Security Officer to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This role combines exceptional front-of-house service with effective security support, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for visitors, clients, and colleagues.

As the first point of contact on site, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience while maintaining the highest standards of security, vigilance, and professionalism.Provide a warm, professional, and courteous welcome to all visitors and staff.

Your duties include (but are not limited to):

• Manage reception and concierge duties, including visitor registration and access control
• Conduct regular patrols and security checks of the premises
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and customer enquiries
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and site documentation
• Issue visitor passes and ensure access procedures are followed
• Support the delivery of health and safety procedures across the site
• Build strong relationships with clients, visitors, and colleagues to maintain a positive working environment

Full in-house training will be provided.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Valid SIA Licence
• Valid CCTV Licence (desirable)
• Right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable history
• Punctual and reliable
• Passionate about creating an expectational customer experience
• Knowledge of the MS packages (excel, word, outlook)
• Highly intuitive with a curious mindset
