Job summary

TSS are looking for a Security Officer in Aylesford, where no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

Applicants must hold a valid SIA Security/Door Supervisor Licence. Pay £13.00 per hour with a paid break. Various hours and shifts. 5.6 weeks' holiday and a range of benefits are available through TSS.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible uniformed deterrent to contribute to safety and security of the client's premises and staff.
• Carry out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors.
• Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site.
• Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems.
• Carry out duties assigned by the client or manager.
• Ensure site knowledge remains up to date and local developments identified.
• Understand and implement Fire and Safety evacuation procedures.
• Assist with staff and contractor searches if required by the Client.
• Keep the security base clean and tidy at all times.
• Conduct yourself in a manner that brings credit to yourself and the Company, with proper uniform and visible SIA licence.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer you will be responsible for:

• To provide a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff

• To carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• To ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified

• To assist, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• To ensure that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• To conduct yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring full uniform is worn and SIA licence is clearly displayed
