Job summary

Staffline is seeking a Retail Security Officer in Ramsgate. You will provide a visible, uniformed deterrent and contribute to the safety of staff and visitors while adhering to company policies on loss prevention.

Role requires an SIA licence, strong communication, and the ability to work with digital devices. 18+ years old with a professional, customer-focused approach; training and progression opportunities available with Staffline.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible uniformed deterrent to contribute to safety and security of premises and staff.
• Carry out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure staff and visitors safety.
• Deter troublemakers on site and observe/report incidents using reporting systems.
• Carry out duties as directed by client or manager.
• Keep site knowledge up to date and identify local developments.
• Understand and implement Fire and Safety evacuation procedures.
• Assist with staff and contractor searches if required by client.
• Keep Security base clean and tidy.
• Present professional conduct and wear full uniform with SIA licence displayed.

Position: Retail Security Officer

Location: Ramsgate

Pay Rate: £14.10 per hour

Hours: Various

Shifts: Various

SG / DS SIA licence required.

Your Time at Work

• To provide a visible uniformed deterrent, to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
• To carry out Company Policy on loss prevention and ensure the safety of staff and visitors
• To lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
• To observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
• To carry out all duties assigned by the client or manager to whom you are responsible
• To ensure site knowledge is kept up to date and developments at local level are identified
• To understand and implement any Fire and Safety evacuation procedures
• To assist, if required by the Client, with staff and contractor searches
• To ensure that the Security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
• To conduct yourself, at all times, in a manner which will bring credit to yourself and the Company, ensuring full uniform is worn and SIA licence is clearly displayed
