Job description

As a Retail Security Officer at ZAM FM Ltd, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment within a retail setting. You will be responsible for deterring theft, protecting staff and customers, monitoring CCTV, and ensuring that store policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and anti-social behaviour.
• Monitor CCTV and carry out regular patrols within the store and surrounding areas.
• Prevent and detect theft, fraud, and other unlawful activities, reporting all incidents accurately.
• Liaise with store management, local law enforcement, and emergency services as required.
• Ensure compliance with ZAM FM Ltd's and the client's security procedures and site instructions.
• Assist in emergency situations such as fire evacuations or medical incidents.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities.
• Deliver excellent customer service to staff and visitors while maintaining a professional demeanour.
• Support loss prevention initiatives and contribute to a safe and welcoming shopping experience.
