Job summary

Manchester Digital is seeking a Security Officer to be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, ensuring safety across our buildings.

In a close-knit team, you’ll monitor CCTV, control building access, perform searches or patrol grounds, respond to alarms, provide first aid, and maintain clear, accurate incident logs according to our policies.

• Monitor CCTV in the Security Control Room.
• Oversee building access and entry procedures.
• Carry out physical searches or patrol the grounds (foot and vehicle).
• Respond to alarms and administer first aid when needed.
• Keep clear, accurate incident logs in line with policies.

Job description

As one of our Security Officers, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and staff entering our buildings. Working in a close-knit, supportive team, you’ll anticipate and reduce security risks, making sure our building and everyone in it stays safe.
You may be working in our Security Control Room, monitoring CCTV, or overseeing access to the building, or you could be carrying out physical searches or patrolling the grounds (both on foot and in vehicles). Whether you’re responding to an alarm, giving first aid, or helping a visitor understand security procedures, you’ll always follow our policies carefully and keep clear, accurate incident logs.
