Job summary

Kings Security is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our UK team. You will protect client premises, assets and personnel by monitoring access, conducting patrols and responding promptly to incidents, while delivering a high standard of service.

The role requires strong communication, flexibility with shift patterns, and calmness under pressure. You will work to health and safety guidelines, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with emergency services when needed.

Qualifications

• SIA licence or valid SIA training certificates.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Flexibility, willingness to work various shift patterns in line with operational needs.
• Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure, especially during emergencies.
• Desirable: experience in a similar role, understanding of security protocols, familiarity with surveillance systems, and prior security industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they feel welcome and are directed to the appropriate area.
• Address client concerns and resolve issues professionally and courteously.
• Maintain high level of customer service and build relationships with staff, visitors and contractors.
• Record activity accurately on documents per client and company quality procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor premises, both internally and externally.
• Control access to premises and ensure only authorised personnel enter.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents and report findings accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents and irregularities.
• Collaborate with emergency services when required.
• Communicate clearly with a diverse range of people.
