Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking a Stadium Event Security Officer to protect attendees, staff and players in Liverpool. You will manage crowds, perform ticket/bag checks and patrol designated areas to maintain safety.

Required are a DS SIA License and a 5-year checkable career history; strong English communication is essential, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• DS SIA license is required.
• A 5-year checkable work/career history is required.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Must be physically fit for the tasks.
• Must work well under pressure.
• Strong English communication skills are required, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Investigating disturbances and monitoring venue entry/exit points.
• Access control and screening, bag searches, frisking, and screening for prohibited items.
• Crowd management to control density and flow during ingress/egress.
• Patrolling and surveillance to deter anti-social behaviour and secure restricted/VIP areas.
• Emergency response support including evacuations, first aid, and liaison with authorities.
• Customer service by welcoming visitors and assisting with enquiries to ensure a safe experience.

About the role

Title – Stadium Security

Pay Rate – £13.34

Location – Liverpool

Shift Timings – 6 Hour shifts

You will be working as a Stadium Event Security Officer. The purpose of your role is to ensure the safety of attendees, staff, and players by managing crowds, conducting ticket/bag checks, and patrolling designated areas.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Investigating Disturbances: as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the venue
• Access Control & Screening: Conducting bag searches, frisking, checking tickets, and scanning for prohibited items (weapons, outside food/drink) at entry points.
• Crowd Management: Monitoring spectator density, managing the flow of people during entry (ingress) and exit (egress), and preventing overcrowding in viewing areas.
• Patrolling & Surveillance: Maintaining a visible presence to deter anti-social behaviour, monitoring for potential hazards (fire/trip), and securing, restricted, or VIP areas.
• Emergency Response: Assisting in emergency evacuations, providing first aid, and collaborating with local authorities.
• Customer Service: Welcoming visitors, providing directions, and assisting with enquiries to ensure a positive, safe experience

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
