Job summary

BardWood Support Services is seeking a Security Officer for a well-known retail store in Enfield. The role covers night shifts (0700–1900) across Monday to Sunday, focusing on safety and security for staff and visitors.

You will patrol premises, monitor entry/exit points and respond to emergencies while maintaining customer relations. After 12 weeks, permanent placement is offered with benefits including SIA license renewal, cycle-to-work, salary finance, and private medical cover.

Qualifications

• SIA license and a 5-year checkable work history.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure.

About the role

Title – Security Officer

Pay Rate – £13.45

Location – Enfield

Shift Timings – Night shifts - Monday to Sunday (0700 to 1900)

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• SIA License.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
