Job summary

BardWood Support Services is recruiting for a Retail security officer based in Hamilton. The role focuses on maintaining safety for staff and visitors in a busy retail environment, with responsibilities spanning patrols, customer assistance, and incident response.

Flexible to day shifts and weekends, with a 40-hour week, and a permanent transfer after 12 weeks with a range of employee benefits.

• Experience in a similar role would be an advantage.

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.

• Investigating disturbances and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Confidently calling for help in emergencies and operating theft-detecting devices.

About the role

Title – Retail security officer

Pay Rate – £13.58ph

Location –Hamilton

Shift Timings – Full time 40 hours per week- Must be flexible to work day shifts and weekends

You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.


• Handing out baskets

• Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.
