Job summary

Corinthia London is seeking a Security Officer to uphold security, health and safety across our luxury hotel in central London. You will safeguard guests, colleagues and the business, ensuring policies are followed and incidents are handled with discretion.

We value professionalism, excellent English, and a proactive approach. The role requires flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts, with a focus on zero-tolerance for breaches and superb guest care.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Security Officer in a 5-star hotel or comparable luxury environment.
• Valid First Aid and SIA certificates are essential.
• Additional Health & Safety, CCTV, defibrillator or Fire Marshal training is advantageous.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to security, fire and health and safety legislation.
• Protect guests, employees and the company from security risks.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring protective measures to minimise losses.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Security Officer will take responsibility for ensuring that all security and health and safety legislation is adhered to and the relevant policies and procedures are adopted. You will protect and safeguard, guests, employees and the company in relation to all matters involving security, fire and health & safety.

You will assist in the implementation, monitoring and review of the protective and preventative measures that Corinthia London requires, and will work to minimise all losses, occupational health issues, accidents and injuries by adopting a zero-tolerance approach to security, health & safety breaches, whilst generating awareness of these issues across all layers of the organisation.

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience as a Security Officer in a 5* hotel/ environment
• Valid First Aid & SIA certificates are essential
• Additional Health & Safety, SIA CCTV, Defibrillator or Fire Marshall / Warden training or qualifications are advantageous
• Flexibility to work 12 hour shifts to include day shifts, night shifts and weekends
• A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality
