Job summary

Staffline are recruiting for a Security Officer to work in Bodmin, for a leading food company. The role is 42 hours per week on a shift pattern Tue-Fri, with 12-hour shifts from 06:00 to 18:00, at £13.44 per hour.

Duties include patrolling, gatehouse duties, access control, monitoring visitors and staff, and responding to security breaches or medical incidents. SIA licences (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor) are required, and travel/own transport may be needed.

We have a great opportunity to work as an Security Officer for a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in the outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.

Staffline is recruiting for a Security Officer to work in Bodmin, working at a leading food company.

Contract Information

• Pay Rate: £13.44 per hour
• Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Friday
• Hours per week: 42
• Shift timings: 12 hours 06:00-18:00
• SIA Licenses: Security Guarding or Door Supervisor.

Must live locally and be able to travel to the site independently. If not local, you must have a Full UK Driving Licence and your own car.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer, your duties will include:

• Patrolling the site
• Gatehouse duties
• Access and Egress control
• Monitoring of visitors, staff and customers to the sites
• Responding to security breaches and medical incidents

Our Perfect Worker

It is important to have great communication and customer service skills. You will also need to have strong IT skills and be able to use all forms of technology and software systems.

Our perfect Area Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
