Staffline, in partnership with G4S, is recruiting a Security Officer for a site in Sleaford. The role operates on a 4 on 4 off schedule, days and nights, and pays £14.26 per hour. Overtime is paid at 1.25x after 48 hours. Applicants must be 18+. Staffline offers SIA training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Job description

Great opportunity to work as a Security Officer for a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.

We are recruiting for a Security Officer to work in Sleaford.

The rate of pay is £14.26 per hour.

Overtime is paid at 1.25x for any hours worked over 48 hours

This is a full-time role following a 4 on 4 off shift pattern rotating between days and nights.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer you will be ensuring the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile.

Other elements of the role will include:

• Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site
• Conducting searches when required
• Gatehouse duties
• Patrolling of the premises - both inside and outside
• Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key.

You must be flexible and available to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering day and night shifts.

It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA licence, however it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.

Gatehouse and Weighbridge experience preferred.
