Job summary

Staffline, on behalf of G4S, is recruiting a Security Officer for a high-security site in Berkeley. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, from 07:00 to 17:00, with a pay rate of £14.88 per hour. Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence with their own transport and an SIA licence.

Training and development are provided. The ideal candidate has strong English communication, attention to detail, and adaptability to a fast-paced security environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding).
• 5-year checkable work history and character references required.
• Pass rigorous National Security Vetting (BPSS/SC).
• Must have own transport and a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake shift work flexibly as required.

This is a full time security officer position working Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 17:00 (40 hours per week)

Pay rate - £14.88 per hour

Applicants will need a full UK driving licence and your own transport.

Must have a valid SIA Licence.

We are looking for a rare type of individual for a role where previous experience is not essential as we'll support the right candidate with training. Someone who cares about security. Has excellent attention to detail, appreciates that risk exists and is vigilant enough to spot it and take relevant actions, quickly and professionally, to deal with it.

• Licensing Requirements: You must hold a valid SIA licence (either a Door Supervisor or Security Guarding licence). SIA training can be provided to the suitable candidate.
• Work History & References: You must be able to prove a 5-year checkable work history and provide character references.
• Integrity: Successful candidates must pass rigorous National Security Vetting (BPSS/SC).
• Reliability: You must have your own transport and a commitment to the commute.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills are essential for reporting and client interaction.
