Job summary

Kingdom Group at Sanctuary Dashwood House, Banbury, OX16 5AW, is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff and visitors. The role requires an SIA licence, five-year work history, and DBS check, with duties including patrols, CCTV monitoring and visitor sign-in.

The position is 30 hours per week on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday shift from 22:00 to 08:00, with training provided and a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Licence.
• Full 5-year checkable employment history.
• Be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, contractors and staff.

Kingdom Group have an excellent opportunity for a Security Officer to join our team at Sanctuary Dashwood House, Banbury, OX16 5AW

Location: Sanctuary Dashwood House, Banbury, OX16 5AW

Hours: 30 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Shift Times: 22:00 - 08:00

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

About The Role

As a Security Officer at this supported living site, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, contractors and staff. Duties include acting as the first point of contact, signing visitors in and out, conducting regular patrols, monitoring CCTV systems, completing incident and handover reports, reporting emergency maintenance issues, overseeing contractor access, carrying out health and safety checks, and ensuring all site procedures are followed at all times.

Skills And Experience Required

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, a professional approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Previous security or concierge experience is desirable but not essential. Applicants must hold a valid SIA Licence, be able to provide a full 5-year checkable employment history, and be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
