Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd is seeking a Security Officer to join a supported living site in Swindon. You will be the frontline contact for residents, visitors, and contractors, conducting patrols, monitoring CCTV, and ensuring safety on site. A valid SIA licence and a professional, customer-focused approach are essential.

You will maintain thorough records, respond to incidents, and support contractor access while upholding health and safety standards. 5-year history checkability is required.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and contractors.
• Sign visitors in and out of the building.
• Conduct regular site patrols and monitor CCTV systems.
• Maintain accurate records of resident and visitor movements.
• Complete visual inspections and report health and safety concerns.
• Respond to incidents and complete incident reports when required.
• Report emergency repair issues outside of normal working hours.
• Assist with contractor access and monitoring activities on site.
• Complete handover reports and maintain communication logs.
• Escalate significant issues to supervision or on-call staff when necessary.

Security Officer - Supported Living Site

Location: Sanctuary Culvery Court, Swindon, SN1 5BZ

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 35.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off rotation, Monday to Sunday

Shift Times: 22:00 - 08:15

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and contractors.

Skills and Experience Required:

A valid SIA Licence is essential. Previous security experience is desirable but not essential. Applicants must also be able to provide a full 5-year checkable employment history.
