Job summary

Kingdom Group is seeking a Security Officer for a supported living site in Swindon. You will be the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, sign in visitors, and patrol the site while monitoring CCTV to help keep residents safe.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. A full 5-year employment history is required for background checks. 35.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors.
• Sign visitors in and out of the building.
• Conduct regular site patrols and monitor CCTV systems.
• Maintain accurate records of resident and visitor movements.
• Complete visual inspections and report health and safety concerns.
• Respond to incidents and complete incident reports when required.
• Report emergency repair issues outside normal working hours.
• Assist with contractor access and monitoring activities on site.
• Prepare handover reports and maintain communication logs.
• Escalate significant issues to supervisors when necessary.

Location: Sanctuary Culvery Court, Swindon, SN1 5BZ
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 35.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off rotation, Monday to Sunday
Shift Times: 22:00 - 08:15

Key Responsibilities:

• Acting as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and contractors.
• Signing visitors in and out of the building.
