Job summary

Haven is seeking a Security Manager to lead an energetic team on our holiday park sites across the United Kingdom. You will drive security operations, maintain high safety standards, and ensure a welcoming environment for guests, owners and staff.

You’ll manage budgets and resources, provide coaching, handle incidents, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, while supporting team development and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Security Management role, preferably in a holiday park, resort, or customer service environment.
• Valid SIA Door Supervisors (DS) License.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in budgeting and financial management.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of security protocols and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support the security team to deliver excellent service and hit targets.
• Ensure guest experience is welcoming while maintaining security standards.
• Monitor performance, provide coaching, and conduct reviews.

As the Security Manager, you'll be at the heart of an energetic team, leading with clear direction and plenty of motivation. You'll inspire your team to hit their goals and keep up high standards by showing them how it’s done! You'll be hands‑on with performance, offering feedback to help your team grow, tackling any challenges, and supporting their development. Managing resources like budgets and tools will be key to keeping things running smoothly. You'll be the driving force behind creating a safe and secure environment for our guests, owners and team, continuously improving our security operations, and solving any issues that pop up. Plus, you'll make sure everything stays compliant, and on point with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.
• Guest Experience: Ensure top-tier guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, improving service, and driving a welcoming atmosphere.
• Performance Management: Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
• Resource Management: Overseeteam scheduling, budgets, and resources to maximise efficiency and meet business needs.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and standards, including maintaining and reviewing the Park Security Plan, Security Risk Assessments and Instructions.
• Problem Solving: Quickly resolve any operational issues that arise, ensuring smooth day-to-day running.
• Training and Development: Supportteam development through ongoing training, mentoring, and creating growth opportunities.

Requirements
