Job summary

Haven is seeking a Security Team Member to join our 24-hour security operation. You will help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for guests, owners and staff across our holiday parks.

A valid SIA Door Supervisor license is essential, with opportunities for development within our supportive team. Join Haven to work in a dynamic, active role that involves patrolling, incident response, and guest assistance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor license.
• Experience in security, preferably in hospitality or leisure.
• Good communication and calm professional conduct.
• High attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the park to ensure safety for guests, owners and team.
• Manage park access, allowing only authorised individuals.
• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms or guest concerns.
• Keep accurate incident records and report to management.
• Provide friendly guest service and information as needed.

Position: Security Team Member, Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Seasonal, Pay Rates: £13.72 per hour

Join our One Great Team here at Haven as a Security Team Member, where you’ll be maintaining a safe & secure environment for our guests, owners and team. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licensed Security Team Member to join our fun and welcoming facilities team at Haven! As part of our 24-hour security operation, you’ll be at the heart of creating a safe, relaxed, and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests and team members. If you love working with people, staying active, and where no day is the same, then this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the holiday park to always ensure safety and security to our guests, owners and team.
• Assist in the management of park access, ensuring only authorised individuals and guests or owners are permitted on site.
• Respond promptly and professionally to any security-related incidents, such as medical emergencies, alarms, or guest concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, reporting to management as required.
• Provide friendly and helpful guest experiences, assisting with information on guest queries.
• Collaborate with other team members and park functions to create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) license.
• Previous experience in a security role, preferably within the hospitality or leisure industry, is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• High attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Commitment to delivering excellent service in line with Haven’s values.
