Banham Security Systems in London is seeking a highly skilled Security & Fire Service Engineer to join our established engineering team. This field role responds to pre-arranged and emergency calls, delivering outstanding customer service to keep security systems reliable.

You will service intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems, diagnose faults, implement upgrades, and monitor alarms on client sites. A strong customer focus and practical problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing intruder alarm, CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis abilities.
• Good knowledge of regulatory standards related to security systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Join a market - leading Security company as a Security & Fire Service Engineer. Steeped in history, innovation and excellence, Banham is seeking a highly skilled, experienced and dedicated Service Engineer to join our established engineering team in London.

This is a field engineering role to respond to both pre-arranged and emergency response calls. As a highly skilled Security & Fire Service Engineer you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to ensure the ongoing functionality and reliability of our customers' security systems.

This role demands strong technical knowledge of fire, intruder alarm, and CCTV systems, alongside practical field experience, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service.

What can you bring to Banham?

Demonstrable depth of knowledge and subject matter expertise in security &fire systems, evidenced through extensive practical experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes.

• Proficiency in servicing and maintaining intruder alarm systems whilst also having some knowledge of broader electronic security systems: CCTV, entry and access control systems and fire alarms. (Experience in the wider product range would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided).

• Evidence Problem-Solving: Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

• Knowledge of regulatory standards.

• Able to diagnose and resolve technical issues with security systems, including identifying faults, conducting repairs, and restoring functionality in a timely manner

• Can recommend and implement system upgrades and enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and security in accordance with client requirements.

• Monitor alarm signals and alerts from customer sites, investigate any triggered alarms, and take appropriate action to address potential security threats

Please Note:

Role hours 7:45am-5:45pm (allowing 45 mins travel each way) - Mon-Fri working on call rota of an average 1 in 8 weekends (daytime only no nights unless a Night Engineer)
