Job summary

Tesco Mobile Ltd seeks a senior security leader to define and execute a multi-year roadmap, translating risk, regulatory needs and tech challenges into scalable security solutions. You will build forward-looking capability in vulnerability management, incident response, threat intelligence and research.

A passion for frontier AI cyber capabilities and a culture of collaboration is essential. You will drive metrics, lead teams, influence senior stakeholders and ensure secure-by-design systems

Qualifications

• Experience integrating security into the SDLC and secure-by-design practices.
• Awareness of current cyber threats and attacker techniques.
• Experience implementing AI agents in security contexts.
• Knowledge of internal control frameworks and regulatory expectations.
• Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, EDR and threat intel platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year roadmap translating risk, regulatory needs and tech challenges into scalable security solutions.
• Establish a forward-looking capability across vulnerability management, incident response, threat intelligence and research.
• Pursue learning in frontier AI cyber capabilities and apply to the business.
• Maintain attention to detail and strong communications across teams.
• Identify emerging threats and build a fluid roadmap to protect TMUK.
• Ensure systems are safe and secure by design.
• Define success metrics and use data to inform risk management strategy.
• Lead high-performing teams and influence senior stakeholders to drive adoption.
• Cultivate collaboration, innovation and adherence to industry standards.
• Improve ways of working and deepen customer understanding.
